Don Jazzy Should Be Killed and Forgotten!

Michael Collins aka Don Jazzy
Who wants Don Jazzy dead???
Kill Don Jazzy - written by ex-Mo' Hits Publicist, Bayo Omisore So to start with, I am not a hater. I do not wish any evil on Don Jazzy or Michael Collins. If anything, I can be categorized as an interested onlooker when I want to be passive or an invested businessman active in the Nigerian music industry for the past 18 years. In addition, I am a writer. I have been told I am a very decent writer. Or maybe I’m living on past glory. Either way, I had another title I was working with. But I decided this one would attract the eyeballs I desperately need to get the attention I so desperately crave. Finally, I understand the workings of PR. Hell, I handled the PR of Mo’ Hits in 2006 when the only talent was D’banj. Back then, Wande was a dancer, Dr. Sid (I plead the Fifth) and D’Prince was a model. I do not wish death on Michael Collins. I however think the Don Jazzy brand is dead. Or should be rested. I’ll tell you why... Bayo Omisore Do you remember Don Jazzy? Remember that Soundcity advert. I remember the first day I met D’banj and Don Jazzy. This must have been either late 2004 or

Qualification and Merit Are Usually Not Primary Factors to Be Considered In Choosing Who Gets a Political Appointment. Appointments are usually a means of compensation to party loyalists. - APC Igando Ikotun LCDA

This was said following complains on the recently sworn in SLG and Supervisors in the Council. Hon. Badly Burnt at 4 Years, Doctors Said She Won't Conceive, She Has 3 Kids Now

Facebook user Success Placid Ugoji  shared a touching story about a lady named Kanisha Anthony;
“At the age of 4, I was in a house fire. I remember being trapped by a room full of fire than being pull out of the window by my big toe. I was in the house with my mom and 3 brothers… two brothers (age 2 and 6) did not make it out. I was sent to one hospital where they weren’t able to do any thing for me, then flown to another.

By the time I made it there, my heart had stopped. My mother had been told her 3rd baby died. After a few minutes, I was given another chance at life. And I don’t take it for granted at all. I was burned over 60% of my body, lost my 4 fingers, lost my hair that isn’t able to grow back again.

SLG / Supervisors Appointees: Council Chairmen Ignore Ambode's List, Swear in Their Candidates

Council Chairmen in Alimosho Local Government have ignored Governor Ambode's list and proceeded to swear in their own list of SLGs and Supervisors on Monday 6th November, 2017 in a ceremony most of them held in their offices, privately with only the party leaders in attendance in most cases.

Alimosho Standard reliably gathered that what was done in nearly all the Councils was that a list was presented to the legislative arm by the Chairmen for screening. This list contained the names of those on the list of the governor and those of the leaders. While in some LCDAs, the people on the list were screened successfully, in others, those on the governor's list were screened out and the list of leaders, sworn in. All these happened on Monday, 6th November, 2017 at every Local Council in Alimosho.

Someone Kills Her Child, Drops The Corpse in A Drainage in Alaguntan, Alimosho

See what a Facebook user (Alaguntan Youths) posted yesterday.

We woke up this morning to see the disheartening and inhumane sight of a baby corpse dumped into a gutter (filled with dirty water and debris) just beside Diamond Bank (Iyana-Ipaja Mini Branch, at Alaguntan) on Iperu Akesan Street.
For us, we’ve concerned issues begging for prompt answers.
1. Why on earth would a mother (caring and God fearing) dumped the corpse of his/her dead child in such inhumane state.
2. What’s the response rate of emergency (health, security and environment) in Lagos State even when the state government has provided ‘Toll Free Lines’ for such?

Abesan Demolition: Governor Ambode Got it Wrong This Time – Adeleye Tom-Adeloye

A resident of Abesan Estate in Alimosho, Lagos, Adeleye Tom-Opeloye, has written an open letter to Governor Ambode concerning the demolition of illegal structures in the estate. In a letter made available to Abesan News and Alimosho Standard, he said the governor did not get it right at all, this time.
Though he claims to have been a fan of Governor Ambode from the beginning due to the giant strides in his performance, he is faulting this particular move that will affect the lives of elderly people who voted him into office. He is also questioning the purpose of the demolition since there is no breakdown of law and order or epidemic in Abesan presently or in the nearest future. Read his letter:
