Hoofbeatdotcom Hosts Inaugural Enterprise and Innovation Awards

The inaugural Enterprise and Innovation Awards- Nigeria, organised by Hoofbeatdotcom, publishers of Africa Enterprise under the leadership of Simbo Olorunfemi, a renowned award winning author was held on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos.

The awards aimed at promoting and rewarding innovation, entrepreneurship and renaissance was chaired by Dr. Femi Orebe, erstwhile chairman of Nigerite Limited. The event had two guest speakers, Mr. Lampe Omoyele, a Marketing Expert with decades of experience in building brands in West Africa and erstwhile Managing Director of Nestle West Africa and Mr. Israel Ovieri, a Financial Expert, Serial Entrepreneur and Tech-Evangelist and the Chairman of Banklink Africa.

Recipients of awards who were recognised based on contribution to their professions and leadership styles include JobberMan, Lapo Microfinance Bank, Kola Oyeyemi (Ignite Africa) and Eddy Lawani. Others are Israel Ovirih, Lampe Omoyele, Dr. Femi Orebe and Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria.
