Demolition of Illegal Structures in Abesan, Opene Sympathizes With His People

“My Mum lives in Abesan(Jakande) Housing Estate,Ipaja while I Reside in one of the private houses at the back of the Estate and I'm presently serving as their Councillor.


The following telephone conversation between me and my mum.


Mum: Hello Honourable


Me : Ekaro Ma ( Good morning mum)


Mum: Se o wa da bayiii, ee ti wo gbo gbo shop wa ni Estate.( is it good like this, u have demolished all our shops in d estate).


Me: mummy, awon LBIC ni,sugbon won o ti wa wo , awon to ni shop lo n fun ara won tu.( its Lagos state building Investment LBIC but they have not yet started demolition,just people removing their Shops).


Mum: Ba wo ni won se ni ma tu fun ra wo. Nigba ti won Ba wa se ipade ti won ni afi Dan Dan ni wi wo (Why won't people remove their shops when LBIC had meeting with Residents and insisted on demolition.)


Me: Mummy Ema bi nu ma. O ko ja Agbara mi ni ma. Awon LBIC ni ( I'm so sorry mum, this one pass my power ni, na LBIC)


Mum: Eleyi oda oooo, e ba wa ba won soro wipe ebi npa awa arugbo ati odo .....( This is unfair pls talk to dem that the Aged and youths are suffering from this actions)


Me: hello,Helooo mummy....(phone went off)


By the time I got to her place I met many Aged people,we had a very long conversation they ended up praying for me......


I sincerely sympathize with the Good,loving and peaceful people of Abesan Estate during this period.All will be well.
