Chief Mrs. Soneye - Iya Oja |
Sola Gulf on the Band |
Market men and women occupying Abesan Estate Retail market on Friday 10th March, 2017 held their annual thanksgiving party. A day set aside to count their gains and to thank God for His blessings and to also plan for the coming year.
Iya Oja, Chief Mrs. Soneye who was in charge of the event thanked God for the lives of her members. She encouraged them to work hard and to put all their trust in only God who gives wealth without adding sorrow. She also pleaded with them to be united
Iya Oja decried the absence of impact of the local government in the market. She complained that their impact is not felt at all and hopes changes will be made.
Conspicuously absent at the event is Baba Oja of Abesan Retail market who was nowhere to be found. Our investigations revealed he was locked out of the market for 'offending' his constituents.
As always, Gulf Sola and his Classique Juju Band thrilled the guests.
