AERA Inaugurates Transportation and Multipurpose Cooperative Society Committees

The president of Abesan Estate Residents Association (AERA), Mr. Ogundimu Kehinde on Friday 27th October, 2017, swore in TRANSPORTATION and MULTIPURPOSE COOPERATIVE SOCIETY COMMITTEES. The committees were sworn in the presence of chairmen of the sectors and AERA executives at the association’s Secretariat.

Breaking News: AMEN Centre Recently Built Will Be Affected In This Shake-Up

The newly erected structure put up for the use of Abesan residents and erected by a developer, AMEN Centre will not be demolished but the papers will be looked into again.
An inside source at LBIC who spoke anonymously with Abesan News has confirmed that the MD of LBIC, Ms. Folashade Folivi has been asking questions about the project. She wants to know what is in the project for LBIC.

Abesan Demolition: Governor Ambode Got it Wrong This Time – Adeleye Tom-Adeloye

A resident of Abesan Estate in Alimosho, Lagos, Adeleye Tom-Opeloye, has written an open letter to Governor Ambode concerning the demolition of illegal structures in the estate. In a letter made available to Abesan News and Alimosho Standard, he said the governor did not get it right at all, this time. 
Though he claims to have been a fan of Governor Ambode from the beginning due to the giant strides in his performance, he is faulting this particular move that will affect the lives of elderly people who voted him into office. He is also questioning the purpose of the demolition since there is no breakdown of law and order or epidemic in Abesan presently or in the nearest future. Read his letter:

BIOGRAPHY OF OTUNBA GANI ADAMS 

Otunba (Dr.) Gani Adams was born on 30th April, 1970 at Arigidi-Akoko in the present Akoko North-West Local Government Area of Ondo State, Nigeria. 

He attended many primary schools due to the nature of his father’s job. He started at the Army Children’s School, Oturkpo until primary (3) before his father was again transferred to Lagos, where he completed his Primary School Education at Municipal Primary School, Surulere, Lagos in 1980.

He attended Ansar-Ud-deen Secondary School, Randle Avenue, Surulere before he went for furniture making and interior decorating training which he successfully completed in 1987.

Fraudsters Gang rape, Dupe Woman of N600,000 in Alimosho

Three suspected fraudsters have been arrested and charged before a Lagos court for obtaining N600,000 from a lady and gang raped her in the process.

The suspects are Chibueze Osuji, 37, Lawrence Nwogu, 44 and Anthony Nwadike.

The incident happened at Arida area of Idimu, Lagos where they accosted her on her way to church.

They took her to an undisclosed location were they first defrauded her and then too turns to rape her.

Ms. Folashade Folivi is the MD of Lagos Building Investment Company (LBIC), the company that built and is regulating the activities in all Jakande Estates in Lagos state, which Abesan Estate is one. No sooner than she was appointed to that position less than 2 years ago, she indicated her interest in giving the people of the Estates better living conditions than what is presently being enjoyed. To her, any building erected in the estates without a building approval is illegal and must go down. she says she wants to follow the Master Plan of the estates so people can enjoy the flats they bought.

A heartless woman has been arrested after pouring hot water on her husband in his sleep for inquiring about the whereabouts after his daughter. The Zambian woman identified as Charity Banda, allegedly killed her step daughter some months ago and buried her corpse right in front of her house.
