The newly erected structure put up for the use of Abesan residents and erected
by a developer, AMEN Centre will not be demolished but the papers will be
looked into again.

The MD was told that LBIC only served as a referee between the two
parties (AERA and Developer) without taking anything out of it that will
generate income over the years but She was said to have wondered how that could
have happened.
She has therefore decided to look into the papers of the structure
to know how it can generate revenue for LBIC, after all, LBIC owns Abesan. It is
of note that Abesan Estate Residents association (AERA) gave the place to a
developer who is supposed to run/own for the next 25 years, after which it will
handover. A 7-Man Committee was set up to look at the authenticity of the project
by AERA but till now, the recommendations of the committee which included a

review of the terms of agreement between both parties has not been implemented.
During her last visit, the
MD of LBIC visited places occupied by private residents in Abesan. There is
high probability that most of the private residents will be going down. When asked
when she would be coming for demolition, she told them that she was giving them
till Sunday to remove all illegal structures.
