Appointment of SLG's and Supervisory Councilors in Alimosho Local Government; Our Facts

Facts that we (Alimosho Standard) have:
-Before elections into LGs, some individuals were appointed by the leadership of APC in Alimosho as Secretary to Local Government (SLG)

-These people worked tirelessly for the success of the party at the polls.

-In most cases, these are people who indicated interest in becoming the chairmen of their LG and are qualified in all ramifications

-In most cases, their pictures were used on campaign posters though they won't be occupying elective positions (wrong call and exposure to embarrassment as in this case)

-After elections, most of the Supervisory Councilors knew what they would be given and jubilated

-Most of the SLGs had their offices and even used it. All of them took part in Council activities though they were nit being paid

-3 months into the administration and parading themselves as Council executives, Governor Ambode makes appointments into SLGs, puts his own people who are equally qualified to be on the seat.

-Party members who had earlier been promised appointment are not happy, some have been said to have threatened leaving the party.

-While other LGs in Lagos state have sworn in their SLGs, Alimosho is yet to comply because of the inclusions Governor Ambode made.

-Hence this memo:

I've the directive of HE to inform all Exec Chairmen of LGs/LCDAs that the Swearing-in of the Newly appointed SLGs & Supervisors Must be completed by Monday,6th November,2017,unfailingly.I am to add that any Chairman that fails to by this directive will be held responsible.Thank you.
