In a heartwarming display of commitment, Hon. Opeyemi Adunni Akindele, Chairman of Mosan Okunola Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has reiterated her dedication to fulfilling her campaign promises to the people of Abesan Estate. This assurance was made during a courtesy visit by the Abesan Estate Residents' Association (AERA) executive, led by President Elder Michael A. Kehinde, on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.

With a personal touch, Hon. Akindele shared her vision for Abesan Estate, emphasizing her focus on improving infrastructure, enhancing security, promoting education, and beautifying the estate.

As an educationist herself, she is taking a special interest in promoting learning in the Mosan Okunola LCDA. "I am passionate about giving back to my community, and I am committed to making Abesan Estate a better place for all its residents," she said.

The Chairman highlighted notable achievements within days of taking office, including ongoing road construction projects in Abesan and other locations within the LCDA. She also outlined plans to partner with a company to paint Abesan Estate buildings, with the company recouping their investment in phases.

Furthermore, she noted that work has already begun in primary schools in Abesan, and she intends to provide GCE forms to AERA members.

Hon. Akindele expressed her heartfelt gratitude to AERA for their support during the elections and encouraged more residents to participate in future electoral processes. The meeting, witnessed by her Chief of Staff, Mr. Tolulope Falope, was marked by a spirit of collaboration and mutual understanding. The AERA executive presented her with a congratulatory card, wishing her a successful tenure in office.
