Yesterday, I fulfilled my promise to compensate relatives of the victims of the Immigration Recruitment tragedy by presenting them cheques and Letters of Appointment. GEJ.
...but obviously, many people were not happy with the President. This is what one angry fan said :
Dear President, I will like to write without sounding offensive or defensive to avoid been bias. It is a great. Sir let me remind you that in 2011 Nigerians needed a leader that will challenge the political dominance of crooks that has drain this nation so far, A leader that will bring us hope and a new nigeria. That was when you emerge as president, we were all happy, I knew how I argued with my friends that you are not a politician, you will give us that new Nigeria, you were like the hope for the masses and point of survival for the rich then. sir today I can't stand to sell you to anyone. in 2011, we all believed you will be a hero that will surpass the records of our past heroes. let me tell you sir you made a lot of mistakes that will seem unforgivable to some nigerians that voted you massively without sentiment, ethnics or religious. Firstly, you neglected the masses that brought you in and embrace the same crooks and mongers that are running the nation dry. secondly, why are you finding it so difficult to punish the corrupt officials in your cabinet, you don't remove other peoples' tick while yours is dangling in your eyes. you also turned against people that fought for you even when some cabals wanted to bring you down, obasanjo, wole soyinka even falana were all in abuja to fight tooth and nails so you can overcome but today because your aides made you believe they are dangerous to you then you shatter them off in your government. Baba Obj might be bad but to some point he defended you when you needed him most but you allow a certain Fani Kayode that has killed your alive as a person, a man that cannot even win a street and others to ridicule him even when you know he is saying the truth. Never in the history of this country have we been divided like this because that was what you are presenting to us . let me be sincere, opposition are meant to be critics in any democracy that will develop but they criticise when their are flaws in government so government can do the right thing. Sir, to some point I think you should have caution the first lady long ago so she will not keep damaging the image that is not even on a stand. let me say this if I can just say this as my view, please you are not the president of a party or some groups but the federal republic of nigeria. sir maybe you should check the social media account of your aides e.g doyin okupe and see how he talk to nigeriians. Your resonse to national issues are not too good sincerely. If you have performed beyond reasonable doubt I swear Nigerians are ready to be with you even more than what the constitution permit. Sir, Please you should just put some elements of decorum in your Administration not to attack groups or individual that sees any flaws in your government because nobody can see himself better than other people. Sir, don't think we will remain what we are as at 2011 because citizens are becoming more civilized everyday and we know what other country enjoys as citizens because we know we have the resources. It is not an excuse to say six years is not enough but atleast we should have a direction and foundation even after six years. Sir I need to let you know that only your associate have enjoyed you administration if you as a president will tell people of south south you could not bring them development, Yoruba's are complaining of marginalizing them so as the northeners. The CHANGE you are scared or the one given you a sleepless night is not APC but the flaws you failed to address. We don't want economic growth but economic development that touches the life of a common man. I stay in ibadan and I can tell you that for the past six years I couldn't see anything done by your administration here. I might not vote for you this time but it will not guarantee you will not win but if you will please make changes to your cabinet and remove all this town cryers, bring in technocrats and people that understands Nigeria. Forget what has happened during campaigns, you might see good people in the opposition too so if the blame comes you can oint to them too. If you lose accept as the price you pay for taking us for granted, betray and deceit you gave to us and move on. God Bless You, God Bless Our Dear Country.
