Fondly called
Double chief, Chief Akin Solomon Williams is a big shot both in the
entertainment industry and the Media world in and outside Alimosho. In the
early 80s, he managed Artistes in Nigeria and UK, including but not limited to
these big names in the music industry, Adewale Ayuba, Daniel Wilson, Kola
Ogunkoya, Abass Akande Obesere, Yomi Peters, Janet Fateye Gabriel (former Miss
Nigeria 1996) based in UK.
He also worked
with a lot of media outfits including but not limited to Reality Magazine as
Marketing Manager, Empress Magazine as Special Projects Manager, GEM Women
Magazine as Adverts Manager, Fortune & Class Magazine as Marketing and
Special Projects Manager, National Mirror News Paper as Marketing and Special
Projects Manager, Naija FM , UK and Naija Television UK on Sky 590 and Oodua FM
UK as International correspondent.
He is currently
the CEO of Mediarite Communications, a Media and Marketing company and also CEO
of Double Chief Entertainment Limited, an events packaging and Artistes
management Company.
On chieftaincy
titles, he is the Bobajiro of Arigbajo Land and Gbobaniyi of Ogere Remo, both
in Ogun, his state of Origin.
His company
recently organized Valentine Red & White Couples Special event in Abesan
where Obesere, Yinka Best, Wale Thompson and Seancor Dare Nuga performed.
