DIGNITARIES GATHER TO CELEBRATE ALIMOSHO DAY

Alimosho Day 2016 though might have come and gone. It witnessed a huge turnout like never before. The event held on 29th January 2016 at Alimosho playing ground Alimosho with MC Murphy and Emma as official compeer of the event. The event which was the fourth edition featured music, dance, drama and fundraising for ALIMSHO Ultra Modern Library.                                                                                                               
 The president, Alimosho Pillars, Alhaji Ejigbadero speaking with Alimosho Standard said he is grateful to Almighty Allah for the successful organization of the event. He added that though there were challenges here and there, all eventually went well. Conclusively, he thanked all that supported in cash and in kind for the successful hosting of the event.
The organizing secretary, Mr. Suleiman Gbadamosi expressed his profound gratitude to Almighty God and to all those that made it a remarkable success, he explained that the event featured free eye screening exercise for everyone present at the event.
The commissioner for Youth and Social Development,  Pharm. Mrs. Uzamat Akinbile Yusuf expressed the readiness of the state government to redeem all promises made to residents of Alimosho during the electioneering campaign. This she said while speaking with Alimosho Standard.
 Though the event kicked off a little behind schedule the event was so full to capacity that the security agencies had a hectic day battling the anxious onlookers and passersby, who wanted to catch a glimpse of the star studded event.
Some of the dignitaries at the event include the Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, Hon. Bisi Yusuf, Pharm. Uzamat Akinbile Yusuf, Alhaji Abdullai Enilolobo, Hon. Opeyemi Akindele among many others.
There was so much to eat and drink while music was supplied by Ace Fuji Musician, king Wasiu Ayinde Marshal K1 who rendered some of his major hit songs to the admiration of the cheering crowd. Other upcoming artistes who graced the stage included Aroye, Alafin Orun, Dre San a.k.a shoki Master and Queen Lola Okirijaja. The event which winded up till late in the evening showcased all Beauty Queens in all parts of Alimosho.
