The participants who came from all walks of life were taken through survival stages and to maximize the opportunities that abound in Nigeria especially during this recession.
Speaking with Alimosho Standard, one of the participants, Adeniji Olufunke, a civil servant thanked the organizers of the training for the opportunity. In her words, “I am happy I was able to attend this programme. It has taught me a lot of things. I realized there are salient things people need to put into consideration before starting a business. You plan and while planning, you consider three things, the B. E. S. your buying, how to buy materials, you think of the expenses that come with it, and you also think of savings. Our eyes were opened to these three things and we even had a real life experience where one of our facilitators gave us money to go into businesses after dividing us into three groups. We made mistakes and learnt a lot. One of the things we learnt is that most of the things we complain about in businesses were caused by us. Those that were not at the training missed a lot”, she told Alimosho Standard.
