Group allege imposition of non-resident as party chieftain in Alimosho

A group of APC members in Ward D, Abesan in Mosan Okunola LCDA, Alimosho, have petitioned the state chairman of the party for alleged imposition of a non-resident of the ward, Mr. Shola Oyekunle as Ward chairman of the party.

In the petition signed by 17 members of the ward which was made available to Abesan News, the group who claim to be members of the ward alleged that the imposition of Shola Oyekunle as ward chairman has created unrest in the party.

A section of the petition reads: "Furthermore, Pst. Adekunle Toyobo is more experienced than this so called imposed Shola Oyekunle who does not reside in Abesan Estate of Mosan Okunola LCDA and he is also not in support of Bola Ahmed Tinubu's aspiration as incoming president, and there are proofs to that effect."
