AERA President Leads Delegation to Welcome New Ipaja Police Chief

SP Hauwa Idris-Adamu and Elder M.A.O Kehinde

In a show of solidarity and cooperation, the President of Abesan Estate Residents' Association (AERA), Elder Michael Kehinde, accompanied by his executives, paid a courtesy visit to the newly posted Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ipaja Police Divisional Headquarters, Superintendent Hauwa Idris Adamu. The visit aimed to welcome SP Adamu and reaffirm our commitment to cooperating with the Police and maintaining peace in our area.

During the meeting, SP Adamu expressed her unwavering dedication to upholding law and order within her jurisdiction. Emphasizing the importance of peace, she noted that it's "non-negotiable," particularly since the current Commissioner of Police in Lagos State resides in the area.

This gesture underscores the collaborative spirit between community leaders and law enforcement, essential for effective policing and community safety. As Nigeria's police force undergoes reorganization ¹, such partnerships become increasingly vital.

With SP Adamu at the helm, Ipaja residents can expect a renewed focus on maintaining harmony and addressing local concerns.
