Mosan-Okunola LCDA Swears In 15 Supervisors to Boost Grassroots Development

The Mosan-Okunola Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Lagos State has sworn in 15 new Supervisors as part of efforts to enhance local governance and improve service delivery at the grassroots level.

The ceremony, held at the LCDA secretariat on Tuesday 17th March, 2026 was presided over by the Executive Chairman, Hon. Akindele Adunni Opeyemi, and attended by top officials including Vice Chairman Hon. Akintola Falade, Leader of the Legislative Arm Hon. Oluwatosin Afuwape (SNR), Secretary to the Local Government Hon. Abdulhameed Ayodele Alawaye, Chief of Staff Hon. Tolulope Falope, Chairman of Revenue Egnr Nwaokolo Mike, and APC party representative Hon. Olaseinde Femi. Also present were management staff led by Council Manager Mr. Joseph Abiodun.

The oaths of Allegiance and Office were administered by the Head of the Council’s Legal Unit, Barr. Kofoworola Quadri, assisted by Barr. Ayoola Balogun.

In her address, Hon. Akindele Adunni Opeyemi urged the new Supervisors to demonstrate integrity, inclusiveness, dedication, and accountability in their roles. She emphasized the need for proactive and diligent service to translate campaign promises into visible results.

“My fellow Honourables, as we embark on this journey, I urge you to be proactive, diligent, and committed to serving our community with utmost integrity. Let us translate our promises into tangible results, leaving no stone unturned by being responsive, responsible, and attentive to the yearnings of your constituents,” she said.

The Chairman stressed the importance of inclusiveness in addressing the needs of the diverse community, ensuring every voice is heard and valued. She called for collaborative efforts, transparency, and actions that would build trust and make Mosan-Okunola a model of excellence.
