 LCDA Councilor Facilitates Borehole Construction, Donates Generator to Pry School



Lagos, November 4, 2024 - In a significant gesture, Hon. Folashade Ayeni, Councilor representing Abesan II at Mosan Okunola LCDA, has facilitated the construction of a borehole and donated a generating set to power it for Housing Estate Primary School, Abesan, Ipaja.

At a handover ceremony held on the school premises on Monday, November 4, 2024, the Headteacher, Mrs. Funmilayo Monye, expressed profound gratitude to Hon. Ayeni for addressing a long-standing concern of the school.

"This borehole is a game-changer for us," Mrs. Monye said. "With access to clean water, our students will no longer have to fetch water from distant sources, reducing the risk of accidents and water-borne diseases. Our school's sanitation and hygiene will also significantly improve. Additionally, the water will support the three schools in the compound."
