President Bola Tinubu Set to Embark on Landmark State Visit to the United Kingdom

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will undertake a historic two-day state visit to the United Kingdom from March 18 to 19, 2026, marking the first official state visit by a Nigerian head of state to the UK in 37 years.

The visit, at the invitation of His Majesty King Charles III and Queen Camilla, will take place at Windsor Castle. Buckingham Palace announced in February that President Tinubu, accompanied by First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has accepted the royal invitation. The King and Queen will host the state visit, making it the highest level of diplomatic courtesy extended by the British monarchy.
